Public work relief program for young men ages 18-25

Built and improved Nat'l forests, state & city parks and rec areas, conservation projects, campgrounds (800 parks & 3 billion trees) - Botanical Gardens in Ft. Worth

2.25 million men passed through the program by 1942 when it closed

Provided relief (income) and provided a benefit to society and to their states.
