7 Shards, representing a deadly sin: Lust: Hit a mob with a Riding Crop Pride: Kill a Boss. Easiest Way: Make a wither farm with Wither-proof blocks from Magical Crops and Draconic Evolution Mob Grinders. Greed: Use a Looting Sword on mobs, or mine quartz Wrath: Overkill a mob Sloth: Kill a mob with ease, or fall damage Envy: Find and kill a zombie pigman holding this shard. Easiest way to do: Auto-Spawner from Minefactory Reloaded. Gluttony: Eat Food. All of these must be done in the nether.

Killing a mob with this enchantment drops emerald fragments to be made into emeralds, killing villagers drops whole emeralds. Materials: 2 Greed Shards, Salis Mundus, Diamond, Golden Sword. Xp Cost:6 levels. Essentia: Lucrum, Infernus, Telum.

A shovel made to dig up dirt at fast speeds, but has special effects when digging through Taint... Can also be right-clicked to remove an area of flux. Made by infusing a Thaumium Shovel with 2 Order Shards, a Diamond, and a Silverwood log. Essentia: Sano, Vitreus, Perfodio.

A Pickaxe made of Taint that can mine hard metals without effort, but takes a while to mine softer metals, like gold. Made by infusing a Thaumium Pickaxe with an entropy shard, a Taint Shard, a diamond, and a Greatwood log. Essentia: Perditio, Perfodio, Vitium. "Obsidian Buster."

When using the Shovel of the Purifier on Taint, the flux energies crystallize into a Taint Shard, to be used in making the Pickaxe of Distortion and the tainted rod.

A Scribing Tools upgrade that, when out of ink, when right-clicked, gives you research points, and turns back into standard Scribing Tools. Made from Scribing Tools, an ink sac, and 2 primal shards. "Arcane Research Grant."

A Scribing Tools upgrade that functions as a combination of Bloody Scrivener's Tools and Crystal Scribing Tools. Made by infusing Crystal Scribing Tools in the Ritual of Binding.

A Scribing Tools upgrade that simply never run out of ink. Made with a feather, a glass bottle, and a Primordial Pearl. "Bragging Rights."

A Material added if Botania is installed. The Manasteel Wand Cap lets the wand draw mana from Mana Tablets and Pools to fill the wand more efficiently. Made from Manasteel nuggets, then the inert cap must be infused in a mana pool to charge.

A Material added if Botania is installed. The Terrasteel Wand Cap will add -10% Vis Discount, might be a bad idea... Made with Terrasteel Nuggets.

A Material added if Botania is installed. The Elementium Wand Cap is surprisingly good at vis channeling and mana conversion for a mana-made metal, offering a high vis and mana-conversion discount. Made with Elementium Nuggets, but to charge them requires infusion. Materials: Gaia Spirit, Rune of Air, Rune of Earth, Rune of Water, Rune of Fire. Essentia: Terra, Ignis, Aer, Aqua.

Made by infusing a Knightly Sword with a Nether Star, a Book and Quill, a gold helmet, and an Ender Pearl with 32 Metallum, 16 Humanus, 8 Ordo, and 16 Lux Essentia. Instability, High.

An Axe counted as a sword for general purpose that, with a great swing, can chop off the heads of your enemies. Made by infusing a thaumium axe with 2 wrath shards, a diamond, and a wither skeleton skull. Essentia: Ira, Telum, Infernus. Only needs a phial's worth for the infusion. Can work on players and mobs alike. "Off with their heads!"

A tool that imprints a mob into an imprinting crystal. Made by infusing a thaumium sword with 3 nether quartz and redstone dust. Essentia: Infernus, Machina, Potentia.

A Set of Sword, Pickaxe, Shovel and Axe that has 3 bases each for enchanting. Each are made by infusing a thaumium tool with 2 Envy Shards, quicksilver, silverwood log, and a diamond. Essentia: Telum for sword, Instrumentum for tools, Permutatio, Invidia. "There's an enchantment for that..."

A tool that can be used on ridden animals to inspire them to go faster. Hitting mobs with this in the nether drops Lust Shards. Made with 2 sticks and leather.

A Weapon that, when used on Blood Magic users, freezes their Soul Network, preventing usage of LP, and Inhibits Sigils. Made by infusing a void sword with a Gluttony shard, a wrath shard, a feather, amber, and a taint tendril. Essentia: Victus, Fames, Telum. "Destroyer of Blood Magic."

A crystal that a diabolist fork uses to imprint a mob and it's aspects to be used in a wrath cage. Made by infusing a diamond with 10 Cognito and 10 Potentia in the crucible.

With an imprinting crystal and essentia, this cage will spawn mobs like a normal spawner. Made by infusing a thaumium block with 4 wrath shards, 4 diamonds, and 3 warded jars. Essentia: Ira, Praecantatio, Bestia, Machina. "A Never-ending Battle"

A Blood Magic Cap that, when used for a blood staff or wand, makes the LP to vis process more efficient. Has a 10% vis discount, but has a 20% Aqua vis discount. Made by infusing a gold cap with 3 Magicales. Essentia: Victus, Aqua. Also adds a weakness effect to a blood wand.

A Blood Magic Wand Core that draws vis from LP, or from your hp if you don't have LP or if soul network is frozen by a Rapier of the Strix. The staff CAN kill you if you don't have the LP. The staff needs a Demon Blood Shard instead of the Primal Charm. The inert rod is made by infusing a Master Blood orb with 2 Imbued Slates, Magicales, Aether, Terrae, Incendium, Aquasalus, Sanctus, and Tenebrae. Essentia: Victus, Aqua, Praecantatio. 1 point of vis=1000 LP, or 900 with Alchemical caps. The inert rod must be charged with 20000 LP from a Tier 4 Blood Altar to function.

A Botania Wand Core that draws vis from Botania mana. Made by infusing a living wood block with a Mana Diamond, and Runes of Mana, Fire, Air, Water, Earth, Summer, Spring, Fall, and Winter. Essentia: Praecantatio, Arbor, Victus, Sensus, Herba. Must be infused in a mana pool to be usable.

A Botania Wand Core that draws vis from Botania mana. Made by infusing a Dreamwood block with the same materials as the living wood rod. Essentia: Same as Livingwood Rod. Must be infused in a mana pool to function properly. The staff core requires a Dragonstone instead of a primal charm. "Sweet Dreams are made of these."

A Wand Core that, when made into a wand, gives you the strength to resist the Nether. "Devilish Vis Storage."

A Rod made of Taint that can be made into a dangerous, warped wand that restores vis when you take taint poison. Also draws vis when in a tainted land. Made by infusing a taint tendril with salis mundus and 6 Tainted Shards. Essentia: Vitium, Perditio, Praecantatio. "Squiggly Vis storage."

An Ars Magica 2 Rod made of Witchwood, from the same mod. Made by infusing a Witchwood log with a sunstone, a moonstone, Purified Vinteum Dust, Arcane Ash, Air Essence, Arcane Essence, Earth Essence, Water Essence, and Fire Essence. Essentia: Aer, Aqua, Ignis, Terra, Praecantatio. Staff Core needs Pure Essence instead of Primal Charm.

A Cap from Ars Magica 2 that is made from Vinteum Dust. When made with the Witchwood Rod or Staff core lets it draw vis from AM2 Mana. Uses 80 mana for 1 vis. Made by infusing a Thaumium Cap with 3 Vinteum Dust. Essentia: Praecantatio, Potentia.

An accessory that recharges a wand with vis when you take damage. Made by infusing an Amulet of Vis Storage with 3 Lust Shards, a Lead, and a Mundane Belt. Essentia: Luxuria, Vinculum, Infernus, Corpus.

A Stone made from Taint that lets you make a Taint Structure that doesn't get covered by the Fibrous Taint... Made with 8 Stone and either 1 Tainted Goo or 1 Taint Shard. Makes 9. Can be used to make Tainted Stone Bricks. "The Taint rocks on."

An enchantment that destroys mundane blocks when mining. Materials: Iron Pickaxe, Salis Mundus, Lava Bucket. XP Cost:3 Levels. Essentia: Instrumentum, Fames, Vacuos.

An enchantment that gives extra experience on kills. Materials: Salis Mundus, Zombie Brain, Book. XP Cost: Multiple of 3 up to 15. Limit: 5. Essentia: Praecantatio, Cognito, Telum.

An enchantment that corrupts shard ores into Nether Shards. Materials: nether wart, soul sand, Salis Mundus. XP Cost: 3 Levels. Essentia: Permutatio, Infernus, Vitreus.

An enchantment that gives more damage to mobs that stacks with Sharpness. Materials: Salis Mundus, Diamond Sword, 3 Wrath Shards. Xp Cost: 1-5. Limit:5 Essentia: Ira, Infernus, Telum. "When every problem is a nail, all you want is a bigger hammer."

An enchantment that gives a pickaxe the autosmelt and cluster abilities of the Pickaxe of the Core. Materials: Pickaxe of the Core, Salis Mundus. XP Cost: x3. Limit: 4. Essentia: Lucrum, Ignis, Metallum.

An enchantment that gives a shovel the wide digging abilities of the Shovel of the Earthmover. Materials: Shovel of the Earthmover, Salis Mundus, 2 Envy Shards. XP Cost: 10. Essentia: Perditio, Perfodio.

A Blood orb that can hold up to 80 million LP. Made by infusing a Transcendent Blood Orb with a Primordial Pearl, a nether star, 2 Eldritch Eyes, 2 Balanced Shards, and 4 Voidmetal ingots. Essentia: Victus, Alienis, Vacuos, Tenebrae.

When this research is completed, you can light certain blocks on fire with a little Ignis from your wand, useful for lighting nether portals. "Never be trapped in the nether again!"
