Taxonomy is an essential tool used in the classification and identification of living organisms. Taxonomy also helps us determine relationships between various organisms due to their similar physical features; for example, humans share many traits with chimpanzees due to their common ancestry as primates in the Animalia kingdom and Hominidae family respectively.
