It is the process of changing an infinitive verb form into one that fits into a sentence grammatically. Conjugations are used to signify when an action takes place, how long it takes, or who is performing it. It’s important to know how to conjugate verbs correctly in order to communicate effectively in any language. For example, if you want to say I am eating in Spanish, you would need to use the first person singular conjugation of the verb comer, which would be “como.” Different languages have different systems of conjugation. In English, there are three basic tenses: past, present and future. Each has its own set of conjugations that must be used appropriately in order for a sentence to make sense and be grammatically correct.
