Physical locks can also help deter potential attackers who may attempt physical tampering with equipment or simply use devices placed near routers/access points in order gain unauthorised entry into networks via man-in-the-middle attacks etc.. In summary , implementing good security practices on our wireless networks requires us not only choosing appropriate encryption technologies but also taking proactive steps such as disabling SSID broadcasting , using MAC address filtering , updating firmware regularly & maintaining proper physical security . Doing this will help keep our information secure & protected against malicious actors who wish harm upon us & those who use our networks .
