World War II: HITLER'S "FINAL SOLUTION"

The Nazi plan to deliberately and systematically exterminate the Jews.

Hitler had a goal of creating a pure Aryan race, with Europeans being only European. He was Anti-Semitic and intended to move the Jews from Europe. After the Allies started to gain the upper hand, he basically decided to plow straight into completely removing them. This meant concentration and death camps.

MAIN METHODS: Ghettos, Mobile Killing Units, SS Authority, and concentration/death camps. OTHER METHODS: State sponsored racism= anti-Jewish legislation, street violence, systematic isolation from society, eliminated from economy.

Mass-murder was not what the Nazis originally envisioned as the "solution" for their Jewish problem, the plan was permanent removal. The Jews were deported into these crowded areas and the hope they would die off, or eventually be moved out.

Detention centers for civilians considered enemies of the state, where they were forced to do labor.

Dreadful living conditions, diseases/epidemics, small sleeping area(barracks), rats, limited resources, beaten.
