Mesoamerica is a region of Central America that was home to some of the earliest and most advanced civilizations in the Americas. It is located in what is now Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, and western Honduras. Mesoamerica was home to many cultures over its long history, spanning from approximately 1500 BCE to 1521 CE.
