It is possible to extract from the talisman, and place blocks it contains, Shift-right click to enable, right-click to bind block. If it absorbs items when at max capacity, all content will be lost!

You can make the blocks that make up the Rod of the Bifrost's bridge using the rod and Alfglass. Used to make Shimmerwood Planks, Shimmerrock, and panes.

A crate that, when given items, will drop the items from the bottom side. Made with Livingwood.

An upgrade to the Open Crate, this crate crafts with what it recieves, if possible, with items and Crafting Placeholders, and ejects the result and the leftovers out the bottom side. Right clicking with the Wand of the Forest will attempt to craft with the items currently in the crate, but the contents will be ejected regardless of the outcome. The contents of the crate can be seen by pointing at it when holding the Wand of the Forest. Crafting Placeholders are used to fill the empty slots of the recipe, and will not be used up in the process.

Black lotuses are a 'battery' for mana, throw them in a mana pool to generate extra mana. Black Lotuses are obtained in chests, Blacker Lotuses are obtained from the Guardian of Gaia and generates more mana than a standard black lotus.
